POPE BURKE???? MAYBE, STAY TUNED!

I don’t get to vote really! But if I did, I would be hoping for Cardinal Raymond L. Burke to be elected by his fellow Cardinals to the Chair of Peter.

As the Bishop of the Diocese of Lacrosse, WI, he hired me and Ed Cotter to come up there and bring the Dead Theologian’s Society to his diocese. At the time I was the President and Co-Founder of  DTS.   He hired me as  a Director of Youth Ministry over a Deanery of 14 parishes and helped Ed secure funding to become a full time National Director of DTS. He was the first bishop to examine DTS in detail and approve it for his diocese. He was (and I believe he still is) a great supporter of the organization. He has a real heart for Catholic Youth Ministry and he is a brilliant man. He was whisked away from us and made an Archbishop of St. Louise, MO, and then shortly after he was made a Cardinal and asked to be in Rome at the Apostolic Signatura.  Which is a very high office in the Church and a perfect way to get to know the inner workings of the Vatican.  More than all this though, he is a very Holy and Pro-life man. I hope God blesses us with Cardinal Burke as the next Holy Father. We could use his youth, his wisdom, and his heart!

We are having a Teen Coffee House on March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day) and Ryan Jurden is going to MC it with his DJ music. TURTLE ISLAND is going to be playing LIVE at out Teen CoffeeHouse this Sunday Night March 3rd.

Bring a friend! They do not have to be Catholic!!!

Monday – Eucharistic Adoration – I will be here from 6 – 7 pm to cover the hour but we have cancelled Teen Bible Study due to Weather!

Tuesday – Teen Podcasting – 6:30 -8pm parish library- Subject :March For Life video and interviews come if you went with us or want to add your pro-life message to the podcast! Everyone welcomed.

Wednesday – Sledding???? Maybe weather permitting. Nothing official scheduled for today.

Thursday – DTS – Meet in library from 6:30 to 7 pm then go to room 21 for the DTS meeting at 7 pm until around 8:45 or 9 pm. We will feed you dinner!

Friday – Teen Talk ” I’m not being fed” with Jeff Cavins up at St. John Neumann in Sunbury. Let me know if you need a ride.

Sunday Night -  Edge and True~Life Youth Groups need to help with the CONCERT in the church with “Tiagi”. She was as big as Lady Gaga in Europe so her music is pretty cool! Come help us usher and attend. This is mandatory for Edge Teens! Bring your family members too. It will be a good concert!
